Can’t believe you’ve turned 17—time has just flown by. You know me, I’d rather say this in person than type it out, but since you’re miles away, I want you to know how much I love you, how much we love you, and how much I miss you.

I often wish you were still here, but I know this is the best for your future and career. I can already see God’s hand on your life—things are working out just the way He planned.

We’ve always been connected in so many ways—not just with music or anime like Dragon Ball, but also through worship. Having you in my worship team was something I never imagined, and I’ll always be proud of that.

You’re growing taller and stronger—but I still feel like choking you, boxing you, and messing you up, and I don’t care if you’re taller than me now! You’ll always be that boy who came smiling to me.

So, happy birthday, bro. Enjoy your day, enjoy the food, and know that we’re celebrating you here too. Can’t wait for you to be back in November—we gon’ turn up for real. So you better pull up with that same energy, ‘cause I’ma be ready to run it back.
