As I sit down to pen this birthday wish, I’m filled with a special kind of joy that only a father can feel. Today marks 17 extraordinary years of you bringing laughter, curiosity, and light into our lives!
Happy 17th Birthday, my not-so-little guy!
You know, scientists say teenagers’ brains aren’t fully developed yet, but somehow you’ve managed to outsmart me countless times already!
Remember when you were little and thought you knew everything? Well, the tables have certainly turned! These days, I’m learning more from you than you probably realize. Your unique perspective and the way you approach life make me incredibly proud.
As you stand at this interesting crossroads, I want you to know that I see you as the thoughtful young man you’re becoming. Your journey is just beginning, and what an adventure it will be!
May your 17th year be filled with good decisions (mostly), memorable experiences, and just enough mistakes to keep you humble and growing. And know that no matter how tall you get or how independent you become, you’ll always be my boy.
Where do I begin!!??? I can’t even fully express what I’m feeling right now as I write this birthday note to you. My heart is so so full, darling 🥹 Just thinking about my beautiful firstborn whom I first held in my arms with pride; the first grandchild in our family who started growing into this little boy whose eyes were always glowing with curiosity, wonder, and joy over the little things, whose smile and laughter was simply contagious and captivating, whose hands were always quick to offer help or share generously, whose heart was filled with kindness, compassion, and a deep gratitude and love for God, whose legs were never still in one place rather endlessly climbing, jumping around, exploring, and fearlessly sharing his faith with other kids! 😍
Look at how that little boy of mine has grown into this marvellous 17 year old who still possesses these same qualities yet in a greater measure not to mention swag! 😅 My son left India as a young boy but is returning back for a visit as a young man, with even more irresistible charm, ambition, kindness, a deeper love n fervour for God and a more refined musician/singer🌟 Hope you discover the many more talents that’s hidden inside you!
Darling, I hold dear and remember those prophecies spoken over you as a little baby as I witness our faithful God’s amazing plans unfold in your life. He has written every word in every line of each chapter of your story, so there’s no reason for me to worry about how everything will turn out in your life cos I know, it is and will be just awesome. He always reminds me that He’s the one who’s carrying you now though I can’t anymore. He’s the one who’s watching over you constantly though I can’t anymore which is way better than I ever could! It’s astonishing how the Lord grants your heart’s desires, from the most insignificant one’s to the really big one’s. His love for you is so extravagant that you nor any of us can fathom it ♥️
My darling boy, I cannot stress enough of how proud Dada and I are of you! Regardless of what you achieve in life (which we know is beyond our imagination), ‘you’ (and your brother) will always be our trophy! Always stay humble and treasure your Savior. May He surround you with godly friends and mentors who lift you up. May your heart always stay tender toward Him, even as you chase big dreams.
Here, we all miss you so so badly but I miss you the most (tell no one 😉) There are days when I wish that Dada and I hadn’t send you off but then again, I remember we can’t keep an eagle 🦅 that’s meant to soar caged up forever n then I’m grateful n thank God that you are living the life that He has perfectly planned for you!

I know that I used to copy you like 24/7 but the truth is I did it because you’re one of my biggest inspirations, even if you didn’t know it I used to want to be like you, I thought you had the best personality, the best jokes the best looks, and I wanted to be like you, and even though we fought sometimes I always believed you were the best brother anyone could possible wish for and I always have loved you but I didn’t realize how much I was gonna miss you when you left I wish I could’ve done more with you and evertime I see other siblings fight I always tell them how you never know how much you miss and love your brother/sister until they go, you are my very first best friend, even though we didn’t have any friends we had each other and I’ll never forget those days, anyway I don’t wanna make this so sad and BAY but I want you to know I really love you and I’m always praying for you I can’t wait to see you again ( I’m also 10x stronger than you now ) ❤️

You’ve always been like the big brother to Allen and I. You’ve always understood all my corny jokes, laughed when no one did and always guided me through this weird adventure called LIFE.
We have made so many memories along this journey, the late night fifa tournaments, swimming a ton and roaming around, talking and laughing non stop. There’s SO MANY things I could say but I guess I’d have to tell you when we meet. Let nothing change who you are and God loves you.
You’re officially older but maybe not wiser 😜I literally can’t believe you’re 17 now I feel like it was just yesterday when we both were 10 yrs old.
I’m so glad I’ve got you as my friend and that you, me and joey became friends and I just know that this friendship is going to flourish even more.
You’re honestly one of the realest people I know,and I genuinely am so grateful for you in my life and the memories we made together. I totally miss our hangouts, jam sessions and our deep chats and I can’t wait for the day when we can catch up and make even more memories to look back on.

You will always be extra special to me, you were oneof the reasons why I fell for for your uncle, you know na..with that dark chocolate and that drooling smile..You were the very first little baby boy I held at my to be husband’s home—a tiny bundle who made me both nervous and overjoyed at the same time. I still remember how you sang for me, hugged me, looked at me suspiciously yet knowing she is someone who is gonna be my friend for life and above all you were so possessive of your uncle in those early days (as if you had a secret rulebook: “He’s MY person, hands off!” 😄). And yet, look at us now—we’ve grown from that playful rivalry into the best of friends, now we are in one team except for the football team 😉😉 but I would be lying if I say..we don’t miss you when watching football matches, it’s not the same but soon we will meet and watch matches together and shout and fight yet enjoy the time together.❣️❣️
Thank you, my darling, for training me and Jeff to become parents with your love. You were our first taste of what it feels like to pour your heart into a child, and you did it so effortlessly just by being yourself.
